Hi there and welcome!
Our ranch is located outside the small town of Barry, TX. We have 10 dogs, 2 steer, 6 dairy does, 10 meat does, and a buck for each herd. Our Boer bloodlines are based in EGGS, Ryals, Sumo, good blood for a solid, full bodied foundation herd. I have mostly percentage does currently, but have added a couple full blood does, and I really look forward to the kids this next year.
My buck, George, is amazing, and was up to 225 at 16 months. His growth was interrupted by rutt, unfortunately, so only time will tell what size he will be. With his look, and the growth and size of his kids, we have great hopes for him here on the farm.
Our latest industry is goat milk, and products related. We have dried off the girls for this year, but should have some new milkers by February or March, and my dairy girls will all freshen by mid-March. We are hoping to start a small dairy, and a farmstead cheese company. But I will always prefer my boer.
